CONTROL

155 items considered by the ACC; 130 approved; 25
deferred or disapproved. 13 new homes approved (five in Hackberry Creek, one in
Cottonwood Valley, five in University Park, one in Fairway Vista and one in The
Enclave).

$6,375 in submission fees collected during July;
$39,655 collected year-to-date.

·
95 issues resolved, 847
properties currently being pursued.

The marketing signs are scheduled
to be removed from either side of entrance to Windsor Ridge Village.
COMMON
PROPERTY
·
Partial dredging of Pea
Patch Lake was completed by the City of Irving.
·
Tree pruning completed on
Flagpole Hill, Rosita Park, and the greenbelts throughout University Hills.
·
The Ebby Blooms
perennial bed was installed in Rochelle Park by 20 real estate agents from the
Ebby Halliday-Las Colinas office.

Completed mid-year
performance reviews of landscape contractors.

Phil Risenhoover and
Darla McDaniel completed a continuing education course on irrigation systems.
ALARM
MONITORING/PATROL
·
Met with Initial
Security Managers – currently reviewing Dispatch training procedures and
updating materials.

As of July 29th,
Dispatch processed 3,092 alarms and Patrol responded to 359 incidents of which 283
of the incidents were deemed as “false alarms”.
COMMUNITY
RELATIONS
·
Opinion
poll survey finalized with consulting firm assisting with Local Option Election
campaign.
·
55
residents/business representatives attended the Las Colinas Day (July 6th)
at Las Colinas Polo Club.
·
Resolution
signed by LCA Board urging Irving City Council to appoint a citizen’s committee
to assist in reviewing the City’s charter.
Requests for similar resolutions forwarded to all HOA liaisons.

Annual
Meeting announcement and “open letter from Board of Directors” encouraging
attendance will be the feature article in the September newsletter in the Las Colinas Chronicle.
·
Sent
mailing to property owners in Cottonwood Valley congratulating them on the
completion of enhancements to their village entrance.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Staff
customer service training scheduled to begin on August 20th.

Collected $4,872,139.20
(86.02%) of assessments.

Vote canvassing/tabulations
underway for Amendment to SD 157.
·
Annual meeting proxy
packets being developed for August 28th mailing.
·
Completed 28 statements
of account, five estoppel certificates and 17 resale certificates through July
30th.

Database maintenance
included 58 property ownership changes and 114 updates.
