ACTIVITY REPORT

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL

64 submissions were considered by the commercial and residential review committees. 55 were approved and 9 were deferred or disapproved.

Three new homes were approved and comprised of two "model" homes in the La Villita development and one in Cottonwood Valley.

Project plans were approved for a new 13,741 square-foot, 2-story retail/office building with an attached drive-thru facility at 7301 N. State Highway 161 (Granite Plaza).

Plans for a 64,700 square-foot building addition for Premier Designs, located at 1551 Corporate Drive, were also approved. The expansion includes additional office space, a warehouse and an employee gym/fitness center.

Submission fees for January 2005 totaled $8,660.

COVENANT ENFORCEMENT

121 issues have been resolved and 511 properties are being pursued.

18 properties were inspected in conjunction with estoppel and/or resale certificate requests.

Staff will be performing a follow-up commercial night light review in February.

COMMON PROPERTY

A new pedestrian bench was installed at Flagpole Hill in appreciation Nelson R. Braddy’s contribution to the Architectural Control Committee.

Tree pruning was accomplished on Northgate Boulevard.

Turf Pre-emergent application was completed.

Three new centralized irrigation controllers were installed on Mac Arthur Boulevard.

ALARM MONITORING/PATROL

Began distribution of a bi-monthly multi-family false alarm summary as well as a monthly Irving Police Stat summary to complex managers.

For the month of January (as of 01/30/05) dispatch processed 2,485 alarms. Patrol responded to 299 alarms, of which 221 were deemed as "false alarms."

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Installed new banners in the Urban Center.
Hosted table for the State of the City Address.
Notified members of City of Irving code enforcement forum and attended. Will keep members updated on future public hearings.
Facilitated Parks Foundation annual meeting.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Collected $5,099,741 (98.00%) of 2004 assessments as of January 31, 2005.

Completed 30 statements of account, 3 estoppel certificates and 14 resale certificates through January 31^st.

Database maintenance included 40 property ownership changes and 1,163 updates.

Financial audit to begin in February.

Employee evaluations are being done in all departments.
