37 enforcement cases were resolved during the month. Currently 620 properties are being pursued and/or monitored. 30 of those properties have been referred to legal counsel, of which 5 are in litigation.
45 properties were inspected in conjunction with estoppel and resale certificate requests.
The position of Plan Reviewer is open. Applications are being accepted and interviews will proceed after resumes have been reviewed.
COMMON PROPERTY
- Two new color beds were installed, one at Walnut Hill/Macarthur and one at Macarthur/Byron Nelson Way.
- Construction began on two entry way identity signs. One is located at Rochelle/Northgate, the other at Beltline/I635.
- Five new irrigation controllers and six new flow meters were installed as part of the new centralized irrigation system.
ALARM MONITORING/PATROL
- Dispatch processed 2,532 alarms during the month. Patrol responded to 350 alarms, of which 270 were deemed "false alarms" following response.
- Implemented new beat, adding 8 patrol hours per day.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
- Represented LCA at DCURD and TIF board meetings as well as the State of the City Address.
- Working with designer and writer on LCA brochure and Las Colinas historical publication.
- Assisting with efforts to bring a dog park to Irving.
- Preparing for Urban Center property managers meeting and HOA liaison meeting.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
- Year to date, collected $5,752,679 (98.71%) of the 2005 assessments.
- Closing year end and preparing for annual audit.
- Completed 35 statements of account, 9 estoppel certificates and 43 resale certificates.
- Database maintenance included 56 ownership changes and 173 updates.
