ACTIVITY REPORT

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL
·
91 items were considered by the ACC; 69 items
were approved and 22 items were deferred or disapproved.
·
Three new homes were approved during March, one
in Hackberry Creek, one in The Enclave and one in Cottonwood Valley.
·
A temporary banking facility for Independent Bank
(4300 N. Beltline Road) was approved. This
is phase one of a two-phase project.
·
$4,145 in submission fees were collected during
the month of March.
COVENANT ENFORCEMENT
·
89 issues resolved, 967 properties being
pursued of which four have been referred to legal.
·
Staff has rotated areas
of responsibility. Introduction letters
have been mailed to property owners in each of the residential villages.
COMMON PROPERTY
·
Installed two new park
benches adjacent to the lakes on Las Colinas Boulevard.
·
Replaced railroad tie
retaining wall in Rochelle Park with stone.
·
Installed new ground
cover beds in shaded areas of Brune Hill and Rochelle Park.
·
Installed new pet pick-up
station at Sector III Park (Millswood area).
·
Cycle-one mowing
enforcements completed.
·
Installed concert pavers
in the island planters at Northgate Drive and MacArthur Boulevard.
ALARM MONITORING/PATROL
·
Security Services
Director Penny Hayter was the featured speaker at the Irving-Las Colinas Women’s
Realtor Association meeting as well as the Community Associations Institute (CAI)
luncheon.

Currently working with
the Irving Fire Marshall on requested fire alarm testing procedures.
·

COMMUNITY RELATIONS
·
Working
with the Board to prepare initial mailer for May 8th Commercial
Member Forum.
·
Finalized
preparations for the April 8th City Council/School Board Candidates’
Forum (6:30 p.m. – City Hall).

Quarterly
apartment managers meeting held on April 1.
·
Completing
application for service mark for Association logo.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
·
99.35% or $5,845,171 of
2002 annual assessments collected as of 3/31/03.
·
Field work for the 2002
financial audit is complete; projected to be finalized by April 14.
·
Five-year pro forma
being revised.
·
Completed 49 statements
of account, 5 estoppel and 19 resale certificates in March.
· Database maintenance – 23 property ownership changes and 211 updates.
