ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL

68 submissions were considered by the commercial and residential review committees. 57 were approved and 11 were deferred or disapproved.

Four new town homes and one single-family home were approved in Fairway Vista as well as one new home in University Park.
Plans for a 5,962 SF single-story medical office building at 1145 Kinwest Parkway were approved.
$7,020 in submission fees were collected; year-to-date $37,360 in fees have been collected.

COVENANT ENFORCEMENT

61 issues have been resolved, 551 properties are being pursued and 6 were referred to legal counsel.

The sixth cycle of vacant lot mowing in Cottonwood Valley was completed.

321 Steeplechase is on the City’s Building and Standards Commission September 9^th agenda for further action.

COMMON PROPERTY

Third litter control position filled.

A new replacement truck was purchased for common property use.

Bid specifications for the 2005-06 landscape maintenance contract were distributed to potential bidders.

ALARM MONITORING/PATROL

Successfully completed annual UL inspection as well as the re-certification of the Central Station due to the office move and the new alarm receiver equipment.

As of August 29^th, Dispatch processed 7,034 alarms for the month which is higher then most monthly totals due extra tests conducted through the new equipment. Patrol had 320 alarm responses. 231 of these incidents were deemed as "false alarms" following response.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Preparing for the October Irving Town Hall Meeting/Candidates Forum.

Assisting with general get-out-the-vote efforts for the upcoming September city election.

Serving as lead coordinator of the Mustangs 20^th Anniversary event to be hosted in October.

Assisting Las Colinas Marketing Alliance (LCMA) with its launch. Working with Dallas Business Journal and Omni Mandalay Hotel to coordinate LCMA event.

Providing editorial assistance for the Las Colinas insert of the Dallas Business Journal.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Collected $4,763,027 (92.28%) or 92.28% of 2004 assessments through August 31st. Second delinquent assessment notices to be distributed on September 13^th.

The annual meeting vote tally and canvassing process is underway.

Completed 19 statements of account, 1 estoppel and 22 resale certificates through August 31^st.

Database maintenance included 31 property ownership changes and 235 updates.
